  • April 2019: Louise McNamara, Director at Invisio spoke about about the tools and strategies to uncovering our own potential and career anchors. Louise also talked about how we can figure out what we want from work and how we can get more of it in our current or future roles. Lynda Barnes and Karyn Glennon of 360 Search spoke about how we can feel our value and know our worth within the workplace while highlighting the key the skills and attributes businesses seek when hiring and advancing key personnel. This event was kindly hosted by Irish Life Investment Managers.

  • October 2018: Dr Pete Lunn of the ESRI returned to discuss the three studies he completed for the Pensions Authority and share his findings about how behavioural science can contribute to upcoming Pension reforms. This event was kindly hosted by Chartered Accountants Ireland and sponsored by Tilman Brewin Dolphin.

  • June 2018:  Angela Smith CEO of Dress for Success spoke about the fantastic work they do for women returning to work and also their recent campaign to address  the Gender pay and opportunity gap. Helen Barron was also there to discuss how we can incorporate classic style tips into our everyday styling.  Thomas Johnston of Bobbi Brown returned this year to provide live demos on how we can all enhance our own natural beauty. This event was kindly hosted by Zurich Life. 

  • October 2017: Dr Pete Lunn of the ESRI discussed behaviour economics and decision making specifically in relation to pensions and investments.  This event was kindly hosted by Grant Thornton. 

  • July 2017: Francis Jones of Image Matters discussed how we can present and style ourselves to make a good 1st and lasting impression. Thomas Johnston of Bobbi Brown also provided tips for professional day to day make up looks that are quick and easy. This event was kindly hosted by Zurich Life.

  • March 2017: Sarah Mc Grath Associate Director with 360 Search and a qualified Nutritional Therapist spoke about the importance of managing ourselves to optimize mind, body and career. This event was kindly hosted by Matheson solicitors. 

  • November 2016: Sinead O'Donnell of Carr Communications spoke about how we discover, develop and promote our personal brand. The event was kindly hosted by Irish Life Investment Managers.

 

  • May 2016: Executive Mentor and Motivational Speaker Sean Weafer spoke about how to become comfortable and fluent with personal networking - and how to use it to win clients and build influential knowledge networks within your organisation. 

  • February 2016: Louise Glennon, Women in Leadership Cordinator with the National Women's Council of Ireland spoke about women's inclusion in the workplace and how it leads to Better Boards, Better Business and Better Society. 

  • November 2015: Lynda Barnes, Managing Director of Executive Search Consultant 360 Search, talked about how companies are now realising how valuable it is to have women represented on their senior management teams and on boards and the importance of networking.
     

  • June 2015: Emer Daly addressed the network on 'Navigating the Landscape of Leadership' kindly hosted by Zurich Life
     

  • March 2015: Pensions Regulator Brendan Kennedy  and Head of Policy Mary Hutch on pension regulation, reform and simplification.
     

  • November 2014: Psychotherapist and communications expert Cathriona Edwards spoke about Dressing for Success, kindly hosted by Davy.
     

  • October 2014: Paula Neary, client director with Accenture, addressed the group on a diversity programme that works.
     

  • June 2014:  Broadly Speaking founder Margaret  E Ward addressed a summer social event kindly hosted by Zurich. She offered tips on how to make your mark in work and in life.
     

  • May 2014: Psychologist Dr Melrona Kirrane described the role of gender in effective leadership.
     

  • March 2014: To mark International Women’s Day, Standard Life and Connect Women in Pensions presented new research on what women think about pensions. The network also offered 100 free hours of pension advice.
     

  • February 2014: Top family lawyer Muriel Walls addressed the group on pension adjustment orders when relationships break down.
     

  • November 2013: Frances Jones of Image Matters shared her top style and fashion tips.
     

  • November 2013: Joan Burton TD, Minister for Social Protection, on how she got in to politics and why.
     

  • October 2013:  Suzanne Cashin, Head of Retirement Asset Services, Tilman Brewin Dolphin, Samantha McConnell, Chief Investment Officer, IFG Corporate Pensions, Peggy Hughes, Partner, Head of Pensions, Mason Hayes & Curran and Jacinta Lawlor, Managing Director, Fundamental Life and Pensions Ltd offered insights in to how they succeeded in their careers.
